A.E. Mills Intermediate is preparing to start the 2020-2021 school year with a 100% Distance Learning format for all students. We realize this is not how we envisioned starting the school year, but it’s the best and most prudent decision for the safety and well-being of our children, staff, and community. All students at A.E. Mills Intermediate School will attend their classes “virtually” and will interact with their teacher and other students while receiving direct instruction every day.
Attendance is a very important part of Distance Learning and “Daily Live Interaction” is required for all students. Therefore, attendance will be taken each day and all students will be responsible to log in and attend their classes daily. Learning is our priority and we want our students to get back into a structured schedule to assist in that learning.
We will continue to focus on educating our students to communicate effectively, think critically and creatively, and work together collaboratively. We look forward to seeing all of our students in person and having them on campus when the time is right. Please do not hesitate to call the school at 559-659-2317 if you have any questions.
Thank you and have a great year! Go Hawks!
