Welcome to the 2025–2026 School Year at A.E. Mills Intermediate School!
Dear Families,
We are excited to welcome you and your child to what promises to be a fantastic year at A.E. Mills Intermediate! Our dedicated Mills team is committed to creating a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment where every student has the opportunity to thrive. At Mills, we believe in meeting students where they are and helping them grow through a variety of learning opportunities. Using the three-tiered MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) framework, we tailor instruction and support to meet each student’s unique needs, ensuring they have every chance to succeed. We know that educating children is a team effort, and we truly value your role as partners in this journey. When families and schools work together, amazing things happen! That is why open, two-way communication is so important to us—we are here to listen, support, and collaborate with you every step of the way.
To help you navigate the school year, we’ve put together this handbook, which includes essential information for both students and families. If you ever have questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out. You can call our school office at (559) 659-2317, Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Our friendly staff is always happy to help. Let’s make this year one to remember—full of kindness, hard work, and big dreams.

¡Estamos muy emocionados de darles la bienvenida a ustedes y a sus hijos a lo que promete ser un año fantástico en A.E. Mills Intermediate! Nuestro dedicado equipo de Mills está comprometido a crear un ambiente de aprendizaje seguro, solidario y motivador, donde cada estudiante tenga la oportunidad de desarrollarse al máximo.
En Mills, creemos en apoyar a los estudiantes desde donde están y ayudarlos a crecer mediante una variedad de oportunidades de aprendizaje. Sabemos que educar a los niños es un esfuerzo en equipo, y realmente valoramos su papel como socios en este camino. ¡Cuando las familias y las escuelas trabajan juntas, suceden cosas increíbles!
